Sister is an award-winning free and universal app made by WLT. Responding to the concerns and needs of over 35k women who participated in an open survey, the app allows users to set destinations and find the safest routes to them, while other verified users of the app monitor the journey and are available to make calls or send messages.

Having a Sister dashboard integrated into their systems, the app also features a panic button directly connected to emergency services and the nearest police station. When this alarm mode is turned on, the app initiates video and audio recording and transmits it in real-time to the police.

Shaped like a heart, Sister's symbol depicts a hug between two women while also featuring an equals sign. This mark is rich with meaning, as it simultaneously represents caring, support, and equality.

Together, these elements reflect the app's mission to foster a safe and empowering environment for women, promoting their right to move freely and confidently without fear.

The art direction for Sister explores themes of sisterhood, protection, and companionship. It incorporates images of women hugging each other as a reference to the mark, and includes a series of illustrations depicting different scenarios where the app can be utilized.

The colour palette fits perfectly with the theme. Transmitting an overall sense of calm and reliability, the violet color characteristic of women's rights movements stands out.

While reaching peaks of 150k active users, the app quickly attracted attention from numerous media outlets, such as Yorokobu or El Español. These publications highlighted the revolutionary way Sister utilizes technology as a security measure.

Additionally, the app was honored with Apple's App of the Day award, acknowledging its value and promoting its installation.
