Daniel Martin is a Madrid-based designer with a focus on Brand Identity, Art Direction and Product Design. He believes beauty can be found in unexpected places and thinks there's no such thing as an ugly colour.

An ongoing archive of diverse client and agency projects. From brand identities to publication design, art direction to digital design, and everything in between.

Curiosity isn't just a trait for me, it's the driving force behind my design philosophy. It's what always fuels my passion for uncovering insights, challenging assumptions, and pushing the boundaries of creativity.

My approach is rooted in understanding a brand's unique values and translating them into compelling visual narratives. Committed to creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impact, I have a deep appreciation for strategically grounded and meticulously crafted digital experiences.

Being comfortable with fast-paced work enviroments, I usually prefer to work with small teams where communication is strong and creativity flourishes.

With a decade of remote work experience, including for international companies with globally distributed teams, I understand the high level of proactivity needed to succeed in this role, particularly when it comes to both taking initiative and communicating effectively. I'm a designer who excels in independent teams, taking full ownership of projects and driving them through from start to finish quickly.

I'm currently designing the next generation of digital products as Design Director @ GeoDB.

My work has been recognized with Awwwards SOTD and Apple's App of the Day.

I met Mark Hamill twice.

Designers like to think that it's not about how it looks. It's about how it works, or how it communicates, or how it changes the world. All true, except it's also about how it looks.

The artifacts we make are the Trojan horses that deliver our ideas to an unsuspecting public. Making them look beautiful (or engaging, or funny, or provocative) is anything but a superficial exercise.
